Below is the sequence as it happened, with the laboratory report published in full. Two things are worth saying before you read it: the batch that was tested is not the batch the advisory named, and the panel does not cover every dye. Both are stated plainly here rather than left for you to find.

Tartrazine is not among the seven parameters in this report. This round covered Sunset Yellow FCF and six other dyes. If the advisory named Tartrazine specifically, that compound has not been tested yet. The broader panel below is intended to cover it, and we will publish those results here whatever they show.
How this unfolded
An advisory is issued regarding Batch No. 10
It raised concern about synthetic colouring agents, Sunset Yellow FCF among them, in the instant mix. It concerned Batch No. 10 specifically. That batch has not been retested, and nothing on this page claims otherwise.
Batch No. 12 is packed
A later production batch, packed after the advisory. This is the batch that was sent for analysis.
We meet our legal advisor and an accredited laboratory
M/s INAAM Tea Agency held a joint meeting with our legal advisor and Sadekar Enviro Engineers Pvt. Ltd. Testing Laboratory about the advisory, and submitted a fresh sample of Batch No. 12 for analysis. Separately, a sample was received by QSS Inspection and Testing Private Limited the same day. A broader analysis is still running
A second analysis of Batch No. 12 was commissioned through Sadekar Enviro Engineers Pvt. Ltd. Testing Laboratory, which holds NABL certificate no. TC-12207 and fulfils FSSAI requirements.
Results expected 10 to 15 working days from 06.08.2026. Nothing has been reported yet. This entry will carry the findings when they arrive.
